Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

I love this location!!! It's in Kahala Mall which is right down the road from my job, so I'm always grabbing an oatmeal, or a drink before or after work! The workers are soo nice and friendly, guess because they know me and my coworkers lol. And there always really fast and efficient in making your drink so you don't wait a milli years! This store is always clean and clutter free, there's always smiling faces from the workers and usually 2 cashiers taking orders. Ohhhhh and they make the best drank ever! it's never to runny or to dull. Even with the soy protein boost it still tastes awesome!

Yum. I love near this mall so I can get a sip anytime I want to. Is this a orange DREAM machine?

A friend just told me she was there today and a kid rang her transaction wrong, charging her 9cents for a $15 gift card. When the kid asked a coworker for help the coworker said it's probably because she doesn't have enough money in her account. HOW RUDE AND INAPPROPRIATE! Bah humbug. GO LANIKAI JUICE across the street instead. Btw it was fixed in a matter of seconds and she did have the $$ in her account.

This location is right out front in the mall by Starbucks and by the outside eating area so you can grab and go or grab a drink as you begin your shopping excursion. The staff at this location are very friendly. They are great at suggestions and have good customer service. They even bring up conversations and chat while you wait for your order. For the most part, the orders are ready pretty fast considering how crowded it is sometimes. This location is a hit or miss on being busy. The longest I was there from standing in line to siping my smoothies was about 25 minutes. I haven't had a bad drink yet, or too thick or watery or shorted (some Jamba Juice locations don't fill your cup completely). This is the only location I have seen that has hot blends (hot coffee, tea and chocolate). The soy hot chocolate is ok. It tastes like a hot healthy chocolate moo'd. For the most part, all locations have been pretty consistent. Besides the hot blends, the staff sets this location apart from the others. Great job Kahala!

Coming here after I pick up my kids from school for a after school snack. They are always busy around this time but they only have 1 person at the register and 2 ppl in making smoothies... The wait is longer than usual cause they are short handed..

Chunky PB n' Jamba... it's crack in smoothie form. Nuff said! LUV IT!

Very convenient and busy location. It's in a central location, right next to Starbucks and the fountain. I always find myself in the area so I frequent this location a lot when I'm home for the holidays. The parking lot right next to Jamba can be a pain sometimes during peak hours. There's always room on the upper lot or on the other side of the mall if you don't mind a nice stroll through the mall. The staff is very friendly and my drinks come out pretty quickly. Very attentive too. The times I've been here, there are two cashiers working the front, even if there aren't a lot of people waiting, which is really nice!

I am glad that they remade my smoothie. i am no doubt a huge fan of the Kona Berry Blast. I really like it because it is my favorite smoothie as well as the Matcha Green Tea mist, which I have not had it in a long time! I am glad that I like my smoothie very thick and not too watery because it melts too quickly and they will make it like that just for you. I have to admit that there are a a few Jamba Juices that still have the mini scones and I am very glad this one has it so that I can enjoy it..if you buy 25.00 worth of gift cards, you will get smoothie for free!! So hurry and get your giftcards and free smoothie!

This Jamba Juice is located in Kahala Mall, next to Starbucks. I personally like this location because my smoothies are usually consistent to Jamba standards, and the staff tends to be friendly and energetic. Some downfalls to this location, it is small, and when it is crowded to gets a bit squishy in there. However, the staff moves quickly, and you'll be out with your juice in no time.

Found these weird white hairs/fibers in my Mango-a-go-go! Gross!!! I always order this drink, and only today I noticed these hairs. To the store's credit, the employees preparing the drinks had no white hair or facial hair at all. They were all Asian with black hair. So what's the deal, Jamba? Is this normal or have you resorted to cheap and artificial ingredients for your drinks to keep profits up?

Usually receive great service sometimes there's a dud at the register. I remember coming in for a smoothie and trying to figure out what drink it was and was trying to explain it to a guy and he was a little snarky with replies :( didn't really appreciate that! Otherwise the service has been great here!

Ever since I was in intermediate school and jamba opened in Kailua, I have been somewhat addicted to Jamba smoothies. Being the picky eater I am there are only a few flavors I really like. Orange Dream Machine, Strawberries Wild etc. The Kahala Jamba has gone downhill recently and I've noticed that it's never as crowded as it used to be. This could be partially due to the new "health craze" and people realizing that jamba is not all that healthy, or because the prices have gone up quite a bit. An original size smoothie runs over $5 now. During my most recent visit I ordered an original size Orange Dream smoothie and was pretty disappointed by the fact it wasn't very well blended. There were huge ice chunks that kept getting stuck in my straw. Also the flavor wasn't as strong as usual. The food options have grown and they now sell flatbreads and sandwiches. I strongly recommend the cheddar tomato twist. It reminds me of the pizza protein stick they discontinued a few years ago. All in all, the Kahala location is an average Jamba Juice. Nothing exceptional but when I'm craving an orange dream machine, it does just fine.

Disappointing. Last two visits, right now being the most recent, my smoothie was more like a juice. Couldn't be bothered to complain. Last time it was just as bad and chunks of fruits were left. Inattentive workers - seemed the guy was the only hard worker and the 2 others were slacking even though it was slow.

First off, let me just say, I think I am qualified to write this review because honestly, I go to this Jamba Juice at least 4 times a week if not more. My kids are Jamba Juice addicts and I am sadly contributing to their addiction (I blame the gift cards...the 6 of them that are making my wallet extremely hard to close at the moment!) by taking them here after school and on weekends. My son's preschool is minutes away and on the way home and quite frankly...it's just so darn convenient! At one point last summer, I swear we were here so much, the workers would say hi to my daughter by name and be already starting our order (a sixteen orange dream in two kiddie cups). My daughter even referred to one worker as "Uncle" she saw him so much! Now, a year later, my kids can drink a sixteen (well, now called "small") all on their own and while we've seen workers come and go, this Jamba Juice has become a staple in our daily errands and after school routine. Most of the staff are friendly and always have a smile on their face - I think of all the Jamba Juice's I've been too the Kahala location has the nicest staff. They are also pretty fast, considering the place is so busy, especially when there's a coupon out - but the wait is usually not too long. I also like the new cups...much more sturdy and the bottoms don't fall out anymore when the kids accidentally drop their smoothie. Still not used to saying "small, med, large" instead of "sixteen, original and power"...but I'm guessing the sizes may have changed a bit with the new cups so they probably can't legally refer to them as they used to. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the boosts are not free anymore, but of course, we'll still be there tomorrow!

This location is extremely convenient now that our office is moving into Kahala Mall, easy way to grab a quick breakfast or lunch on-the-go between showings and clients. I honestly love the deals that pop up at Jamba Juice quite often, just recently they had a graduation special where you buy a $25 gift card and you get a free smoothie. Score! I come here often enough that this is basically like saying "Here's a free smoothie for coming in from time to time!". Honestly, you can't complain about their promotions and deals plus they offer their smoothies in a "Light" option which makes me feel like I'm totally healthy now. Double score!

Wanted to give a shout out to one of the hardest jamba workers. His name is Ty. Always friendly and smiling. Moves fast and is efficient. Also great at remembering frequent customer's names and orders. Great attitude, great customer service and always accommodating. Need more workers like him. Jamba juice kahala is lucky to have him.

I wanted a Jamba Juice today. I passed there a few times earlier and saw that people kept being sent away. Finally at 6:45 I went in and they kept telling everyone they're temporarily closed but wouldnt give a time on when they would "open" back up. Says they close at 8 and I watched as they cleaned. WHAT THE FUCK?! At 7:30 they opened back up. It was dead till they closed 30 mins later. I felt like what happened was wrong. Unless something is wrong and you cant make the smothies, why would you temporarily close?

It's a nice small place I love the mango a gogo. But there is never a place to sit in the area outside of jamba juice.

  • Tammie C.

Why am I giving them such a high rating when I don't even drink Jamba's? Yup you guessed it...I have a toddler who is ADDICTED. It's impossible to steer her away from them since MY addiction of Starbucks is just right next door. It's just like grocery stores that have oodles of candy right in the check out line...it's a CONSPIRACY I tell you! We don't let her get them everyday like she'd want to, but save them for special occasions, or as a reward. Her "Usual" would be their Mango a Go Go, Orange Dream or Strawberries Wild. The Kahala Mall Jamba location has the friendliest workers there. They are always patient with my daughter who insists on ordering the drink herself and handing them her gift card to pay. She gets a kick out of being such a "big girl". Gone are the days where she will use a "cut straw" they conveniently provide for the little ones. Nope, she'll use the awkwardly long straw for the small 16 oz cup. Speaking of cups, I wish they'd improve their kid's clear plastic cup. In the beginning, I used to order her that size, as it's the perfect amount of jamba for her since she's such a tiny tot. However, the cups are way too thin, flimsy and surprisingly slippery. It's an accident waiting to happen...so we just get her the 16 oz. I've always been curious about trying one of their "secret menu" smoothies, especially the white gummy. Although, I know if she were to try it even once, she'll probably never go back to the healthier ones. # 1 / 100 Yelp 100 Review Challenge 2014

This location is one of the better ones on the island. It is clean, usually well-stocked with baked goods, and the staff is friendly! It's in Kahala mall next to Starbucks & Whole Foods. My go-to combo 99% of the time is: - Apple N' Greens smoothie (no mango, sub extra banana) - Apple Cinnamon pretzel, heated of course I could really have this combo every single day and not get tired of it. I'm a creature of habit. In the rare chance that I do stray, I'll probably go with the Choco PB Love if I'm craving dessert, Groovy Guava, or a Banana Berry.

This Jamba Juice location is at and inside Kahala Mall. It is conveniently located next to of course Starbucks, Whole Foods, GRYLT, and right across from where they usually have the on stage performances and what not. It is pretty busy on weekends. There is usually a line but it is not so bad. The staff and customer service is pretty good. They are pretty much on point most of the time even when it gets really busy and stuff. They only have a couple of table and seating areas inside. Just like most Jambas, it is really not that big. You are best to take your smoothie or whatever to go and take out. There are some areas inside and outside the mall where you can can eat. I am not so sure of the weekday experience though since I mostly visit here during the weekends. Overall it is a pretty good Jamba location.

Not up to par with other Jambas, based on my recent visit. The kid who took my order seemed distracted during the entire transaction. A different employee served me my smoothie with a kind smile, but that didn't make up for my initial impression - or the fact that there were more unblended frozen fruit chunks in my smoothie than I'd ever had before.

This ONE STAR review is specifically for the employee named, "Jay-Ar"!!! He must not be a "morning person" because he was NOT in a friendly mood at all with any customers he helped during my visit. He was impatient with the indecisive customer in front of me, & he was visibly upset that the customer after me was making him rearrange her box with a big order in it. When of their regular customers made a joking comment about never seeing Jay-Ar work so hard, Jay-Ar gave a snide remark & rolled his eyes. Upon showing Jay-Ar my "Free Oatmeal" coupon from the "Jamba Rewards" scratch card, he rolled his eyes & scraped whatever was left into a small bowl. Wilson (the BEST employee there!) came by & finished the rest of it (brown sugar w/frozen blueberries). I then told Jay-Ar I have a relatively big order, & his attitude became a little nicer. (I'm guessing because I was going to actually pay for something & wasn't just coming for my FREE item!) After ordering wraps, a smoothie, a primo bowl, & oaties, I asked to order a large oatmeal. Jay-Ar asked if I could wait 5 min or so because a fresh batch is almost done. However, my free oatmeal was already made & waiting. My $26 breakfast order was finally complete after TEN minutes when I noticed Jay-Ar coming with TWO fresh oatmeals. (I seen he didn't add the blueberries, but he just shoved my order in a bag & sent me off!) When I got home, the oatmeals were NOT as I ordered! They were also the WORST oatmeals I ever had from a Jamba Juice! The bowls were HALF FULL (6oz of 12oz & 8oz of 16oz). Then, in addition to NO blueberries I was charged for in my free oatmeal; my apple-cinnamon oatmeal had NO apple-cinnamon filling! This will most definitely be my LAST time coming to this location for breakfast FOREVER! I actually haven't come to this location for breakfast for YEARS because of another employee named, Mel. (She overcharged me & gave a whole bunch of attitude with it as well!) However, I noticed she isn't around anymore, so I figured I'd give it another try. HORRIBLE IDEA!!! The "Moanalua Shopping Center" location is always busy in the morning, but they make the BEST oatmeal EVERY time!!! I never have to wait, & it is always exactly as ordered...sometimes BETTER! Also, they never give me attitude nor overcharge me, no matter what! I have also gotten oatmeal from the "Airport Center" location, & they were on-point as well! On a more positive note, Wilson is always a NiCE face to see at this location! He deserves FiVE STARS!!! Wilson is always happy & smiling, and he makes every customer feel appreciated as soon as they come in the door. I am sure he's just about the only person at this location whom everyone enjoys & doesn't have any problems with! I know it's a lot of responsibility, but I hope Wilson can rub off on some of the other employees, then maybe this location will be a lot better!

Very disappointed in this Jamba Juice , specifically an employee named "Jay" he is always rude to customers, and rolls his eyes or makes sassy remarks. This guy needs to go , I used to be a regular at this jamba but not any more. Never seen this worker ever do anything nice for any customer. Get rid of him or you will continue to lose customers . I promise you that .

This Jamba Juice location is located near the main entrance of Kahala Mall shopping center. They even have a side door too! Starbucks is next door, so you're not too far away from that either. The ambiance is loud, due to the loud screams of the blenders going in full on tilt when making the customer's orders. The staff there are relatively young, but they have a good attitude, even in the morning hours where the morning rush comes there for their orders. Quick service and always a plesant experience with these folks. It's always clean here, and that's why I still come here versus Starbucks to get me a pick-me-up whenever I need to. I almost always get the original banana berry whenever I go. Tasty and chalk full of the essential nutrients and of course it's tasty too. Sometimes, the original cold buster whenever I feel a cold coming on, and the chocolate moo'd if I need a chocolate pick me up. However, after being partial to Cold Stone Creamery and Starbucks (for a while), the chocolate in the chocolate moo'd tastes too fake, but I guess whatever works. I dislike the Chocolate moo'd, although the Peanut Butter mo'd is pretty darn good and awesome. With that said, any of these smoothies Jamba Juice offers is a positive step towards good health. I enjoy the razzmatazz and the acai berry smoothie too, although I would pay a little bit more and go to Lanikai Juice to get it better. You can taste the difference. While this isn't a plug for Lanikai Juice, I feel like there should be given a choice between them. Try both places and see the difference. I do love the oatmeal from Jamba Juice though, especially if I can't have it at home due to waking up late and jamming to work. Overall, Jamba Juice is a quick and fun lesson to enjoy healthy living while tasting fresh and fun all at the same time. B

Had a buy one get one free coupon that they emailed me. Friday was the last day so we went there after dinner. This location is very busy but well staffed so the line moves fast. Drinks also made fast. One of the better locations that I've been to.

Jamba Juice is the best what can I say! i wish they were cheaper so I could buy them every day! I used to get the white gummy, but lately I've been ordering the Orange Dream Machine. I ordered the White Gummy recently and I didn't enjoy it much, so I'm not sure if I just don't like the taste anymore or if that person didn't make it that good. I think I may just not like the taste anymore though, since they're supposed to use the same amount of ingredients every time. I also used the scratch and win card this last visit and received a free 16oz! Yum. Wish I had many many more.

I'm actually quite biased toward this Jamba because they are just across the hall from where I work. Thankfully, I work next to one to better Jambas on the island. Orders are always on point, and even though it gets hella cranking in there during the weekends, the workers (jambaristas?) always seem to be stoked and not overwhelmed. Acai bowls are pretty much a given here. It's no Diamond Head Cove or Blue Hawaii Lifestyle, but it's quick, a lot more convenient and tasty. I have no complaints there. Only thing that I'd knock would be that they're REALLY busy on the weekend, so that could deter the passer-by, but, if you're hankering for some Jamba, can't really go wrong with this one.

Another wonderful vendor in Kahala Mall! And I love the fact that it's right next to Starba!! The store always looks nice and clean...and the workers are friendly too! I also love, love, LOVE their oatmeal!! Since no one in my fam bam eats steel-cut oats and because it takes forever to make, this is the best place to get 'um! Berry Cherry Pecan is hands down THE BEST!

This Jamba Juice is always so crowded.... but the workers are friendly enough and the establishment is clean and Kahala Mall is pretty great.

My husband and I often come here to escape Kaimuki during our lunch hour. So what can I say besides that? Hrmm, the workers are nice for the most part but it's ALWAYS slammed when we go. No matter what time we make it there by, there's a lot of old people and a lot of kids. Jamba Juice is pretty consistent for the most part and I haven't had a bad Jamba experience except when you can't use their coupons because it's mainland only... sad times!

This is the best Jamba Juice I've been to on Oahu. The people are friendly and will chat you up while you wait if they're not super busy (rare that they're not, but it happens once in a while), and they have quality control -- I rarely get a smoothie here that's NOT well-blended. I can't say the same for other locations. The only downside to this location is that they get slammed during certain times of day -- or all day long if it's a hot day -- and then there just isn't enough space for people to wait. And you WILL wait. Again, though, the reasons this location are crowded is its convenient location (at the edge of Kahala Mall, near covered parking) and because they're good at what they do. So is the wait worth it? Yes!

I love this particular location because it's right in the front of the mall so you can start there and do your browsing while sipping a yummy razzmatazz if that's your preference ;) The workers are attentive and make good drinks, no sour oranges at this Jamba. They work quickly and are very friendly. Add to that the fact that I love Jamba and this location is always clean.

I am a Jamba fanatic!!! Go there almost everyday. Went to this location around closing time (this was my first time to this location). 3 employees working. Packed full. Must have had 20+ people in there. The longest I ever had to wait for an order at any Jamba ever! I would say I waited 20+ minutes for my order of 1 drink. The workers were cranking big time. They were working hard. Too hard! They were great!!! Personalities and service were great also even though they were slammed. I give them 10 stars for those staffed at 9 pm on 8/19/10. A 1-star rating is for their boss only. Shame on you! This situation was so understaffed and customers seemed to feel sorry for the workers. I could see all 20+ of them with that look on their faces. All of them thanked the friendly staff for working so hard, including me. The boss should be there to see what a crappy situation this was for his business and his staff. Better yet, he should work this shift with 2 of them and see if he likes it. Open your eyes rich boss man and staff more people on this shift! Boo to the boss man at this location. Cheers to the staff for their performance. All worthy of pay raises in my book....

Best Jamba on the island! Very friendly workers, the pinya colada was the best, but they don't have it on the menu anymore. They're acai bowls actually got a LOT better from when they first started. I like their orange dream the best. mmm delicious! lovejamba!

CHUNKY STRAWBERRY! My new obsession. Super yummy concoction of strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, granola, NOM NOM NOM! It's a convenient substitute for breakfast, especially if you're on the go, and if you're a peanut butter fan, you'll be really happy. :) PS: So far, this Kahala location has always provided nothing but friendly service!

I like the Peanut Butter Moo'd or the White Gummi Bear. I had a lot of immature, yet fun experiences in this place. After going to the movies, me and my friends would always go to Jamba Juice. When the workers would ask for our names, we would give them retarded and random ones like "Ferguson" or "Harriet" and snicker to ourselves. That just goes to show how mature high schoolers can be.

Totally convenient since we usually frequent Whole Foods. I usually frequent Jamba Juice at other locations probably once or twice a month. I like this location since it is connected to the mall too. We tried a new fruit & veggie smoothie berryupBEET. The line went super fast and the smoothie was super delicious and refreshing.

Great place to stop off for a smoothie. They got a couple of these stores around the island as well as back in the states.

This Jamba Juice is great. Bright and usually busy, the staff is usually very friendly and efficient. I'm there about twice a week and see that sometimes they're slammed with patrons and a lot of those moms who have special requests for split drinks for their kiddies. But the staff is always happy to comply and work as efficiently as possible. I wish there was more/better seating.

Yum! One of the best stores on the island. The workers are always so friendly and very quick at making the drinks! I always get Strawberries Wild -- try it!

Yummy smoothies and juices! Always fast service, even when there are longer lines, they still keep the wait time down. Friendly service.

Tasty smoothies served fast food style. Line was kept moving quickly and orderly. However, noise from blenders, people, soundsystem all contributed to an atmosphere of chaos. Surprised anyone could actually hear their names being called for pick-up. Not relaxing in the least, but everyone is getting them to go anyways.

This is a great stop for the early morning before the mall stores open. I always get my fav strawberries wild, but my friends who tag along always talk of the secret menue with different mixes by employees ;)

Ordered 5 power size smoothies to be divided in 20 mini cups for my daughters Halloween party at school .... they froze them the night before so I could pick them up and have a hour for them to defrost .... perfect! The girls loved them :)

Not bad, jamba juice, not bad...you're good but I've still had better. Smoothies are sweet and just as delectable. Same with the juices. But where you really got me is the banana taro bread. I'm a sucker for the banana bread. Your staff is friendly, and your location is clean. Location is convenient for shopping trips in the mall. But I've still had better. You're good, but you're not great. Personally, I'd drink your stuff in a pinch but I've had your local competition...which is better. Sorry, J-J. You're almost there but not quite.

Came on a Friday night maybe an hour before closing. 3 guys were working and when I went in the store with my friend, no one greeted us and were continuing to talk amongst each other. We waited at the register for someone to take our order but took a while for them to realize we were there. The guy on the register didnt seem like he wanted to be there and didnt say thank you after we ordered. The smoothies were still good so I give it a 2 star. But the customer service was not energetic and on-point like it used to be.

What is your dream when you come to Jamba Juice? Is it a Orange Dream or a Strawberry Dream? Whatever you dream about it is most likely to be fulfilled at Jamba Juice. Cold fruity goodness with boosts you need if your feeling tired (Energy Boost), just finish a workout (Protein Boost) or just a Immunity Boost to keep you healthy. I have notice coming in the morning to Kahala Mall that some people do a Jamba Juice instead of coffee for their morning "Fix". Maybe they know something I don't ? I do know that when I do come here...I leave with a smile on my face because it is "Oh So Good! " Ahhhhhh.... Very friendly Staff that gets you on your way feeling Happy! :)
